How we move you to the cloud
Evaluate your infrastructure, application portfolio, and compliance posture. Classify workloads by migration complexity and sensitivity. Output is a prioritized roadmap and environment recommendation across AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or Oracle Government Cloud.
Design target-state cloud architecture including network topology, IAM, security controls, and FedRAMP boundary definition. ATO documentation and SSP authoring completed before any provisioning begins.
Provision and configure landing zones, VPCs, encryption standards, and logging pipelines to the approved architecture. For migrations, the target environment is built and validated in parallel with existing systems.
Execute workload migration in prioritized waves, validating each before proceeding. For greenfield, deploy applications and integrations into the configured environment. Rollback procedures defined and tested before any cutover is authorized.
Penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and compliance validation against your agency's framework. Full ATO support including evidence collection, POA&M development, and coordination with your ISSO and authorizing official.
Transition into ongoing 24/7 monitoring, incident response, patch management, and continuous compliance maintenance. We stay on as your cloud operations partner — this is a continuation, not a handoff.
Compliance and security frameworks we work within
Every implementation we deliver is built to the compliance posture your agency operates under. We don't bolt security on at the end — we configure to the framework from day one.
We deploy exclusively on FedRAMP-authorized platforms — AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and Oracle Government Cloud — and support the full ATO process from SSP authoring through authorizing official sign-off.
Cloud infrastructure configured to NIST 800-53 controls from initial build, with continuous monitoring, logging, and alerting established at the environment level.
StateRAMP-authorized cloud platforms deployed for state agencies, configured to meet data residency, access control, and incident reporting requirements.
Cloud environments for justice, public safety, and corrections agencies configured to CJIS standards. Personnel cleared per policy requirements.
Cloud infrastructure for health and human services agencies with BAAs in place. Encryption, data residency, and access controls configured to HIPAA technical safeguard requirements.
Cloud environments handling Federal Tax Information configured to Pub 1075 safeguards including encryption, audit logging, and access restriction requirements.
Continuous monitoring, POA&M management, and evidence collection to support annual FISMA reporting across High, Moderate, and Low categorizations.
Internal control attestations for Consultadd's own cloud operations available on request under NDA.
Frequently asked questions
Everything contracting officers, IT leaders, and prime capture teams routinely ask before engaging.
AWS GovCloud, Microsoft Azure Government, and Oracle Government Cloud. We're platform-agnostic and will recommend the environment that best fits your agency's workload, compliance requirements, and existing infrastructure.
Yes. We work with agencies moving off on-premises infrastructure as well as those standing up net-new cloud environments. The approach is tailored to where you're starting from.
During the readiness assessment we classify workloads by complexity, compliance sensitivity, and business criticality. Lower-risk systems typically migrate first so we can validate the environment before moving mission-critical workloads.
We build and validate the target cloud environment in parallel with your existing systems. Nothing is decommissioned until the new environment is tested, signed off, and stable.
We implement exclusively on FedRAMP-authorized platforms and support the full ATO process — System Security Plan authoring, evidence collection, POA&M development, and coordination with your ISSO and authorizing official.
That's exactly what the Cloud Readiness Assessment is for. We evaluate your workloads, compliance obligations, and existing contracts before making a recommendation — we don't lead with a platform preference.
Yes. We transition into managed cloud operations post-deployment — 24/7 monitoring, incident response, patch management, and continuous compliance maintenance. Most of our clients keep us on as their long-term cloud operations partner.
It varies significantly by scope. A single-agency workload migration can take 3–6 months. A multi-system, multi-environment modernization program can run 12–24 months. We scope precisely after the readiness assessment.
